    Experience:
    From 1990 to 1996, Mr. Zhao was employed by the Guangzhou Maritime Rescue and Salvage Bureau of the Ministry of Communications (Guangzhou Salvage) to handle chartering, salvage and insurance matters, from 1992 onwards as in-house lawyer. Between 1992 and 1995 he worked as part-time lawyer at a Guangzhou law office. In 1995, he was trained to deal with Hong Kong arbitration, and the next year joined Wang Jing & Co. He is a senior partner of the Firm, and in charge of the Maritime Group.

    Mr. Zhao is experienced in dealing with litigation, arbitration and non-contentious matters involving charter parties, bills of lading, logistics, marine engineering projects, insurance, salvage, towage, barge transportation, maritime fraud, shipping investment and finance, international trade, foreign direct investment, and corporate transactions. Over the years Mr. Zhao has successfully handled many complex, high-value disputes in litigation and arbitration. He has also assisted a number of large foreign enterprises operating in the logistics field to enter the Chinese market through acquisition of existing companies or assets, and continues to act as legal counsel to a host of international traders and logistics companies from China, East Asia, the United Stated and Europe.
